My love for cooking started many years ago when I didn't even have a kitchen but a microwave and an electric skillet! Funny, but seriously, I microwaved rice and made really chewy meat dishes. The first time I made beef stew my husband asked me to never make it again!!! Now he goes weak at the knees when I make Coq au vin and Beef Bourguignon. Over the past 30 years I watched many cooking shows and read through many, many cookbooks as if they were best selling novels. Why? Because cooking fascinated me and continues to. It has been a creative outlet for me when I didn't have time for any others. A great way to put my imagination to work while providing a daily necessity.
