Buttermilk Ranch Dip & Dressing
This is the most delicious Ranch Dip and Dressing you will ever make. It is so versatile, performing double duty as a dip and as a dressing. All of my family and friends enjoy it, even the kids, it's impossible to keep them away from it! I almost always double the recipe because it gets devoured. Leave it out on the table as an appetizer and all throughout dinner. It's perfect for dipping then then drizzling over salad or grilled veggies. My son and husband even put it on their steak sandwiches! Once you make it, you will see it is thicker, great for dipping veggies, chicken wings, chips, pretzels. Once you taste it you will want to put it on everything! Main Ingredients: I cup full fat sour cream 1/2 cup mayo 1 cup low fat buttermilk Juice from 1/2 a lemon 2 garlic gloves grated or finely chopped Spices: 1 tsp. fine pink salt 2 tbsp. fresh chopped parsley 2 tbsp. fresh chopped dill Pinch of cayenne pepper to taste Cracked black pepper to taste Steps: 1. Put all main ingredients in a bowl and whisk. 2. Add spices and whisk again. 3. Dip, drizzle, dip, drizzle, smother, repeat :) 4. Store in a large glass bowl or mason jar for a week. Shortcut ALERT!!! If you do not have some of the ingredients on hand consider this quicker version and make good use of your spices: Instead of fresh garlic use 1 1/2 - 2 tsp. of granulated garlic Instead of fresh herbs use 1 tbsp. each of dried parsley and dill There you go... for all the non-lovers of chopping or those who have not gone grocery shopping yet!
